we have never had a good defence but we have always got results over the
years. But the last few games have been the worst I have seen for some
time, we have given up before a ball has been kicked before today's game.

The players didn't seem to want to play for sam and looked as if they
didn't want to be on the pitch against Liverpool. At Blackburn at least
we attacked which is more than we have done for a while.

So I ask has sam lost the dressing room, after the Liverpool game sam
asked the question but not many came forward with answers. But yet again
a heavy defeat at the hands of Blackburn will we ever learn.

it seems to me the players (none defence) are not helping the defence,
time and time again the defence is being ripped apart because midfield
isn't helping or covering back.... I was always told you defend from the
front and by that I mean the front 2 press the player with the ball.
Smith and Martins did that at Blackburn but midfield let us down.

We had the effort from the players so lets cut the mistakes out and
players like butt start playing in front of the 2 centre backs and not
on the halfway line....

We no longer seem to have any attacking threat to be honest though which
only serves to force more pressure on to an already under-fire defense.
Negative tactics and the players seem to have already accepted defeat as
soon as the opposition scores.

But, if you were playing for a club where you get boo'd off the ground at
half time and full time every game where things don't go exactly according
to plan would you be arsed about putting any effort in either??

every game?

come now, it's hardly been every game.

they got booed off vs liverpool because they absolutely 100% deserved
to be booed off vs liverpool.

they were disgustingly bad, very possibly the worst i've seen in quite
a few years.

if you've paid 30-40 quid to watch that sort of shitty showing, i
think you've a damn good right to let them know you aren't happy.

as was shown vs blackburn. if they actually give it a go, rather than
surrender like a frenchman, the fans will be behind them 100%

turn up and look like you're resigned to losing even before you kick
off, like they did vs liverpool, and they're just asking for abuse.

I think you're got that arse backwards. They got booed off at the Liverpool
game because they put zero effort in (and in fact, from where I sit it was
Allardyce got the worst of it, mainly for the Emre and Zog substitutions).
They didn't put zero effort in because they got booed.

David Moyes for the Toon we should try for david moyes. look at his side, apart from rooney its made of mediocre newcastle rejects. and they get stuck in and play abit too.

Shepherd left the toon in a real mess mess is an He used sponsorship money from the northern rock deal to buy Owen before we had the cash. Money was used in the same way when we signed a deal with adidas. Also it's been revealed by Chris Mort if the old board had not been a
