I can just see him puting pen to paper for some other team shortly, sems to
be common place for OF players. Sign long term deal then swap coutries for
a huge amount.
Still, if he doesnt that will make a pleaseant change. The SPL needs all the
best players it can get.

True enough point.Im very pleased hes signed but thats not a guarantee that
hes staying.Just means we might get slightly more for him from another club
if he left soon, same thing happened with stan.Contracts mean nothing in
football anymore.

It would seem stupid to extend a contract if you want to move on, unless
they get a lump sum for signing I suppose. |

Didnt want to say that, but you're right sure sign he if for the off.
But thats the Boruc must stay song off the list for the next time we
play them, if they turn up. |

Aparently these over worked footbballers we pay the wages for do get a
signing on fee, not sure how much and it will have the usual clauses like
getting money for playing and keeping a cleansheet...which I thought was
thier bloody job!
He may well move on, anyone may well move on, if another team bid 10 million
for Boruc he would be gone, no way would Celtic knock that back, it would be
nteresting to see how much they would accept, as much of a cocknosed wanker
I think he is, he is a good top goalie and would be hard to replace. |

Top news but still has a feel of the Petrov deal to me. Extend the deall so
the club gets more when he leaves. Def pushes his value to £10m+ now. Sure
we can get a replacement if he wants to go for that sort of cash. |

By Celtic goalkeeping standards he is an absolutely amazingly fantastic
wonderful keeper, by normal standards he's a pretty good. Would be
interesting to see how much Celtic would let him go for. As you say, good
keepers are not easy to find. |

Seems as if Celtic are signalling that they want him to stay at
Parkhead. There appears to be alot speculation about clubs coming in
for him but looks as if Celtic want to keep their best players. I
suppose there is the other route and you can try and sell your best
players, maybe to English Premiership Teams, for as much as you can
get...Hibs and Hearts, among others, are selling or feeder clubs... |
