I'd always assumed that WOKing FC referred to some fan club dedicated to
Chinese cookery, and by the looks of it I wasn't far wrong judging by the
way those noodles play. Perhaps they should be renamed Joking FC.

The closing stages were somewhat frantic as both sides went in search
of the winner, but it wasn't to be and Woking, like City, have now got
a home record of P6 W1 D5 L0.
Woking did score a winner on 90 minutes but the goal was ruled out. |

I got intertested once ... thankfully the results came back negative. I'd
go through it all again though, the nurse had the most enormous intertesters
I've ever seen.

And what sort of stuff do you have in your garden shed?

yup, but nothing that will bore u.l.s - my point being that if we're soccer
buffs then we'll be monitoring soccer ng's, newspapers, tv, radio etc -
usenet is for us odd folks - and boring footballers have their own boring
places to be. I'm an avid horse racing fan but you never see posts from me
in here advertising Sandown or Epsom meetings or results (or Kempton which
some could include as Surrey).
Now then, I'm about to emigrate so I can advertise my "garage sale" in here
once - or twice - but multiple football posts are trully dull.
