You'd almost forgotten this one, hadn't you? Well, I had. Then the
titanic struggle between The Mighty Huddersfield Town and the Chelski
Billionaires reminded me of the premier knockout competition for
newsghey football. The ghey romance of the cup and all that.

This year's pathetic number of entries in the Superheores League gave
the fixture planners some headaches, but a formula was finally found.
This season there will, for the first time in modern times, a
Preliminary Round in the UKSF FA Cup. Eight teams will fight it out
for the right to take part in the competition proper, at which point
the other 12 teams will enter the fray.

Rules are the same as they were last year.
- points are scored as per the UKSF Champions League i.e. based on
the
particular week of the Yahoo Fantasy League, winner must score 10 or
more points greater than his opponent.
- in all rounds up to and including the Quarter Finals, Home Bonus
applies (i.e. 5 points). The Semi-Finals and Final are played at
neutral
grounds, hence no bonus applies.
- for all rounds up to and including the Quarter Finals, a single
replay
will be permitted in case of a draw. If the replay also ends in a
draw,
a penalty shootout will be played using the same rules as the UKSF
Champions League.
- There will be no replays for the Semi-Final and Final; a penalty
shootout will ensue in case of a draw.

The teams receiving a bye into the First Round were decided by random
draw, as were the fixtures for the Preliminary Round.

UKSF FA Cup - Preliminary Round
===========================
Dean Windass's Flood Barriers v Poleson City Rovers Town Utd
Mairangi Bay Mysterons v liverpool 4 evr
Magic Sprouts v BarryKeithskoolofexcellence
Erikeoidal Flavours v Bread On Wheels

The rest of you lucky cunts get a bye into the first round proper.
First round matches will be played this coming weekend.

May the best cunts win (and me).
