Hi folks,

The first leg of the UKSF Champions League and UKSF Cup semi-finals
was played at the weekend, and we've got some intriguingly poised ties
as a result.

UKSF Champions League
====================
Dean Windass's Flood Barriers 75 44 Magic Sprouts
Poleson City Rovers Town Utd 42 69 Me Myself and I

The Sprouts look like they've left themselves with a tough second leg,
and even the ever-enlightened Poleson is making it tough on himself.
He obviously has a plan though, he always does. It usually involves
otters.

UKSF Cup
=========
Fat Frank's Thin Friends 54 66 Bread On Wheels
Goalie of the Century 33 43 Sid's Shimmering Skulls

On the other hand the UKSF Cup is looking very finely balanced. No one
side can think they've got it wrapped up. Sid's boys and the Goalies
must be breathing a sigh of relief after neither of them had a good
week but found that the opposition had done the same.

So, a bit of a rest for all the teams before the second and decisive
leg to find out which teams will contest the finals. The next round of
Premier League games will be the weekend of the 23rd February, so the
second leg will be played then. For the avoidance of doubt, this also
includes the Monday night game.

Cheers,

M

It's not all over till the fat lady sings, and I'm sure Steve Sprout
'Sprouty' H will be taking steps to make our return leg a very
difficult journey into the Cauldron of Sprouts.

He'll probably also change his team, so that injured players (Arbeloa
and Almunia) don't make up his numbers. The soft cunt.
