So, 2007 is nearly over and the transfer window opens in two day's time.

The 'appy 'ammers have done really well so far (massive understatement) with
a squad depleted by long term injuries and although they may have dropped a
few silly points at UP overall there are reasons to be optimistic about the
future.

So, would you like to see the club splash out on a couple of major signings
in January or keep faith in the existing squad and wait on the big names
(Bellamy, Dyer, Faubert etc) to come back from injury?

We all saw how that didn't work out last year waiting for Ashton to return
and even if the three players mentioned above are able to play again this
season there are no guarantees when that will happen or if they will have
any time to make an impact.

Assuming that Curbs decides to strengthen the team and the board back him,
who would you like to see at UP? Where do we most need to concentrate on?
Personally I would like to see a prolific "fox in the box" striker (or
Thierry Henry) but I think the biggest problem at the moment is that, all of
the other problems notwithstanding, we do not seem to create enough chances.

I mean, we had to rely on two central defenders to beat ManUre today Smile

Transfer Window Am I right in thinking that we've bought nobody so far during January? All these rumours of people signing, but not really signing! Parker, Cech, Frey, Vieri are just a few who've supposedly signed for us or are going to! In a way I hope Veron gets fit qu

Transfer Window Nearly Closed? If the rumours are to be believed, and it is FS now who is sanctioning the transfers this month then maybe it is no surprise there are no new players. We need defenders, we need a striker. Money is tight, how about Huth on loan with view to a permanant de

Transfer Window - A general needed Currently, we probably have the strongest squad/team that we have had for many years and with the money spent last summer I doubt that we will be bringing in anyone new in January That said, I do think that we need a decent right-back but more important a

looking ahead to january transfer window. Moyes said: "We will assess that at the time and see what we can do. In the past it may well have been loan deals for us at this time of year, but a lot will depend on where we are and how things are going. "That will play a part. But I have not been told
