West ham make an illegal signing via a 3rd party, and then lie to the FA
in an attempt to deceive them and cover their tracks. The FA consult
their table of favoured glamour clubs before seeing the funny side and
fining them instead of docking the points that would have seen them
relegated at the expense of a team who had stuck to the rules.
Chelsea appeal against the 3-match ban for the sending off of Michael
Essien. Again, the FA consult their table of powerful clubs who they are
afraid of before solemnly declining the appeal.
Enter Middlesbrough, appealing against the 3-match ban for
Alialialiadiere's comedy moment and question whether it was really
violent conduct. They hand over the £1,500 fee which the FA demand to
"study" a 10 second video. The FA quickly rate Boro's glamour / power
factor as zero but inadvertently crash their server when they attempt to
divide it by 2. As punishment for the disruption caused they extend
Alialialiadiere's ban to ensure he is out of the game longer than Martin
Taylor, who caused an injury with a coward's tackle which was so
horrific it could not be televised.
As mentioned, justice only prevails when you're really lucky, but in the
words of KK I would love it, really love it if all backfires on the FA
by thrusting Alves into the fore with onion bag goodness, and the FA
having to hand their stupid Cup to the scum.
