Is Souness get the Scotland job I will never support them again. This guy
constantly withdrew his fit players for International duty only for them to
be fit for their next league game. And before all you 'gers lot have a go
at me, will you support Scotland if Tommy Burns got the job?

True. The point about Souness continually withdrawing players from the squad
and mocking Scotland is a fair one. Souness is a bit of a hypocrite to
consider the Scotland job now, it's a clear sign to me that he is not really
wanted as a club manager by any decent teams.

I couldn't give a monkeys who the Scotland manager is, as long as he
instills some passion into the team in the way that Smith & McLeish did (in
contrast to Vogts, Brown & Roxburgh). If it turns out to be Souness, he
would get my full support. I would prefer to see Mark McGhee or George
Burley get the job though.

Souness normally comes across as an articulate and intelligent pundit, it's
strange that he has been unable to translate that into much success in the
real world. Maybe he will have more success at International level where
there is less pressure than day to day club management.

He is a tv man, thats all.We all know what pundits are like but the proof of
what he really was like as a manager have been clear to see.He is a
liability and out of the remaining 4-5 that are named as in the running he
is the one i would least like to see in charge.WS did a bloody good job and
to an extent AMc kept the momentum but i can see Souness undoing it all.But
i also thought he had said a few days ago he didnt want the job as it was
less than he was getting for tv work.

However like most theres no way id turn my back on the team just because of
who the manager was.If souness got the job id just have to do like the days
of bertie, count down the days until he goes! TB im still not sure about him
taking control, really nice guy and great at coaching but just think he still
lacks the edge.McGhee im 50/50 over but think he lacks a bit of euro
experience which would help (something i think gave WS the edge) so i guess
id have to go for Burley.Again he doesnt have as much euro experience but
theres just something about him that makes me think he might have that edge
in him to make the team play.Souness i can see just using the job as some
ego trip and watch as a fair number of players end up losing confidence
before the fans start voicing it too in the same way things went at
Newcastle.

Personally, I'll support Scotland whoever the manager is.

Rangers fans don't want Tommy Burns as Scotland manager for the same
reason Celtic fans don't want him back as Celtic manager. He's a shite
manager.

The fact that you even asked that question tells us exactly where you are
coming from. If Burns gets the job, I'll support them to the hilt.

It's a disgrace that proven terrible managers like Souness are even
being considered. Burns hasn't managed in years and years, which should
discount his application. It simply has to be McGhee or there will be riots.

Riots! You Uber-Jocks sure take it seriously. McGhee would be a decent
choice.

Really? Losing only one league game in his first season, winning the
Scottish Cup, signing excellent players, Cadet, DeCanio, the big dutch Guy,
cant spell his name, Stubbs, And who said Celtic fans don't want him as
manager?

You judge everybody by your warped agenda. If Tommy Burns gets the job I'll
support them to the hilt and of course I'll want them to win every game. I
support them.
I suspect from what you have said that you have been gutted by Scotland's
recent revival under Smith and McLeish.

If you read my post then you would know why. I thought I explained but I
will try again.

Souness contantly with drew Rangers players when he managed them only for
them to make a recovery for their next game. No, I WAS delighted that we
revived under Smith.and McLeish
