Manchester City can confirm that Micah Richards has had an operation on
damaged cartilage in his right knee.

The injury is a recurrence of the one that prevented him from playing
against Sheffield United and Derby County earlier this year.

The 20-year-old travelled to London with club physiotherapist Ally
Beattie for surgery today, and he will be out for a matter of weeks.

Club doctor Mark Whitaker said, “The operation has been successful, and
Micah will begin a rehabilitation programme at Carrington starting
tomorrow. The medical team will monitor his progress over the coming
days and weeks.”

Perhaps.
Onuoha in his place and Corluka back at RB.
Shouldn't upset things too much.

less than a win will do now.

Yes, no excuses. Even with Petrov missing we've got enough to beat them.
Johnson played for an hour on tuesday and Castillo looked much sharper
when he came on on Monday.
I'd drop Ireland for Elano and start with Garrido in place of Petrov.

If Micah Richards becomes available, I hope we're in for him ....Jamie (God love him) and Steve ain't getting any younger... He can play on either side or in the middle. Fast, strong, good with the ball at his feet. Not sure about his distribution. Only 19, lol. WTH
