Just rang Thomas Cook and tried to book on one of the official (ticket
inclusive) trips . To be eligible for a ticket you needed to have
attended 2 previous away games in Europe which I hadn't, but the
wording was a bit vague so I thought I'd try and wing it. When the
girl asked me which 2 games I'd been to I said Wigan and Blackburn
away, and told her that yes I know they weren't European games but to
be honest both towns felt like I was visiting a foreign country! She
pissed herself laughing and said for being a cheeky bugger she was
gonna put my application in, although she did say the club might knock
me back - fingers crossed!
Anyone else going?

I think you're better off getting your flights first. Once all the
flights have gone those who are entitled to tickets won't take them up
so there'll be a lot more available.
£258 for 2 flights and 2 nights is really good, that's more than I'll
be paying for my one flight and one night, that's if Thomas Cook come
up trumps for me!

I should disclose the fact that my good lady wife is a travel agent and
booked the flights for us as soon as the Fiorentina game was done and
dusted! It was all done by the time we got back home from the game!

When is the Fiorentina match? Any ideas?
Naysmith & Beattie Its real horrorshow, Beattie and Naysmith playing in the same team. Its like being revisited by a horrible nightmare. I keep on expecting to wake up bathed in a cold sweat and shrieking with terror -- BlueCubed

60,000 Maaaappitttts I had a strange experience in the boozer Saturday, waiting for the Scotland games, a cockney was in the bar and decided to announce that Scotland fans were all "maaappiitts" , it was good natured banter, and he sat down |
