Rumours going round about us possibly signing these three, thoughts anyone?

I'd be quite happy TBH, not least because we'd finally have a proper right
back in Bardsley. Razvan Rat is supposed to be a talented defender though I
know nowt about him. Reid has had weight issues but apparently he's worked
hard to sort himself out and might surprise a few people.

My thoughts are that in our current position we aren't going to attract top
players, maybe next season we'll be more attractive to our targets. Until
then, I think these three aren't a bad start. Just signing *somebody*
reasonably competent before the deadline and giving us a bit more squad
depth has to be a plus.

I'd say they were decent Championship players Wink

Yes but no chance of getting him apparently, we can only bring in players
who want to come or clubs will part with.
If Simpson was available I'd have him like a shot.

I think he'd be OK. Not a world beater but he's not bad.

Andy Reid Sunderland player now! Anymore?

John Reid Jeanette Findlay was my dissertation advisor at University. She is no bigot. I didn't hear the interview live but from the quotes I've seen on the BBC website, it seems the story is being spun in a way that mis- represents her views.

Hi Doctor Reid I've got some got some change in ma pocket, any chance of a knighthood Alan

reid and o'leary... are these two in cohoots? they both joined 2 premiership clubs as manager and both have left them in a far worse state than they were. --

Andy Johnson yet again has been found out at international level against the mighty Andorra. lol. :)
