A new 2,600 seater stand will form phase one of Woking Football Club's
redevelopment plans. After agreeing a land deal with the local
authority Woking FC - currently playing in the Blue Square premier
division - plan to redevelop its Kingfield stadium. At a meeting this
week the Borough Council said it is prepared to sell an adjacent piece
of land to the football club - at open market value.
