I would like to point out something to the first person who posted about
Keegan leaving having read some of the comments made about Alex Ferguson and
his first four years i have to concur that Keegan should be given til the
end of the season at the very least.
The thing i think that one or two people here are forgetting is that Wise is
a person quite capable of dealing with players and its more than possible
the Managing Director wants to put so much emphasis on Newcastle losing that
he can then sell off the property himself, after all it has happened before
in the North East where a developer made a profit. For myself personally i
think there is more afoot here than meets the eye... after all if you were
going to hire a Director of Football like Dennis Wise wouldnt you have told
Keegan your manager about it first.
I think what will happen is that Keegan has been shafted by the guy that he
wanted to bring in just for the sake of looking after Fans interest. Keegan
may last til the end of the season but may discover that he is surplus to
requirements at the end of the season with Dennis Wise filling in the job by
the end of the summer.
Look forward to hearing from the Newcastle fans about this.... i have been
to Newcastle myself and know the strength and passion of the Geordie
Faithful ... i hope that Keegan does stay and that his footballing knowledge
and attacking flair pulls through and that football in the North East gets a
taste of glory and pride back on the Pitch. After all i as a Londoner dont
just want to see Man United, Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal go for the title,
lets see the Geordies bring it to the Premiership.
Come On Newcastle.........
