Saw on sky sports extra news at lunchtime they said its believed that the
offer has been up'd to £9m from £8m and the personal terms would be £33k a
week plus if he comes in January a signing bonus of £1m !!! Mind you when it
comes to media they never seem to get the figures right so take them with a
pinch of salt. However will be a test to see if what he was saying about
wanting to stay with Rangers is really true or if moneys the real
motivation!

BBC is reporting that he isn't leaving Rangers, certainly not in the
January transfer window. The move may be rekindled in the summer. So
that's an end to that then

The thought of dancing boy in back pocket for another four games at
least, I think he should get to keep him after this season. |

Its got the halmarks of being one of those 11.50pm signings on the last day
on it.Will be interesting to see what happens.Mind you with regard to the
media i read about 7 online reports on the story and although each one was
pretty much saying he was going to sign for spurs, each one also had
different amounts regarding personal terms! So will be interesting to see who
actually gets it right in the end!
One thing though is i spoke on the phone this evening to a friend of the
family whos a Rangers season ticket holder and was saying about the personal
terms being talked about and he said he thought what spurs are offering is
about 3 times as much as hes getting at ibrox,is that true?I have no idea
about what hes on a week at the moment.

until summer, hes going for £8m,hes going for £9m,hes going to be loyal to
the club and tell spurs to bugger off again or hes looking up the nearest
Bentley dealership to spurs!!!

10k apparently, Whether he goes for 8 or 9 million or not remains to be
seen...if he goes at all.
If he goes, whittaker slots into right back and we have 8 or 9 million to
spend!
I would rather he stayed, he is going to get better with age, his running
forward is fantastic and when he is in the mood he takes a lot of
stopping..or chopping as some teams have resorted too.
but 8 million is a lot of money, Rangers could buy themselves a few
excellent players with that....but for where I dont know, were ok up front,
but we could do with another powerhorse like Darcheville up there to cause
pandemonium in other teams defences. |

With all due respect to Whittaker, hes not a patch on Hutton. Will be
interesting to see if he keeps getting better or the move ends up being a
bit like Petrovs.Huttons had one very good season but theres been many over
the years that have done the same then gone off the boil. But hes back in
London today and reports are that he was at the rangers training complex
clearing out his locker at midnight so looks like hes played his last
Rangers game.Sky news just said £8m but yet to sign.

Thing is,will the money all go towards players?I would think if they got £9m
then the mint might give half of that, but could still pick up a couple of
good players for that.

worth that amount, even in pairs. |
