I totally agree, I'd take the lad for £2.5m but any more is crazy.

Shopping in the EPL is like going on a pub crawl in Reykjavik - lots of
fun but really f'ing stupid.

£2.5 is a bit much to I think. He's a £1m player and no more

The BBC are suggesting that Birmingham and Everton split the difference
between their valuations...but it's still alot of cash for Faddy......I'd
rather we'd splashed the cash on Barry Robson...

I'd take Robson but only as a replacement for Jarosik, and certainly for
no more than a million. I see them as being fairly similar, but Robson
is a few years younger and would be a lot cheaper to run.

I'd like to see players leave before we bring any more in.

You want the club to shift players, have a more sustainable wage
structure and additionally generate some transfer income before we
launch back into the transfer windows?!?....Celtic fans nowadays are
not what they used to be... Wink

Venegoor has been beyond fantastic for us since he joined. A scoring
rate of well over one in two and adds a lot more than goals to the side.

Nominating caldwell is the ignorant 'follow the pack' trendy card, but
doesn't stand up when examined closely. He's a very able centre back.

trust me celtic wont win a trophy for aslong as caldwell is at the heart of
that defence, as for jan voh,, we let a better player in hartson go for
peanuts

The same JvOH that has a scoring record well over 1 in 2?
And the same Hartson that spent the last 4 months as Dion Dublins
understudy at Norwich, who are 18th in the Championship.

Interesting opinion.

Hartson did have a tendency to score against Them, and was a good
player for us in his prime....but I think Davie Weir might even give
Hartson a showing up for pace nowadays...Wink
