Man, what a slap in the face to big Eck, saying he wanted to sign for
Celtic. Or maybe he's letting it be know that he wouldn't be averse to
a move in the summer. But the question is, if Celtic keep playing they
wonderful way they are playing at the moment, will we need him....

ps did you see big Eck on MOTD2 on Sunday night?....I think it was
Stuart Graham that suggested it, but he sounded quite ponderous of
thought...gave himself a showing up...

I think that's really harsh Jonbhoy, although maybe you're right. Looks like
it could be between Kenny Miller and McFadden then for Rangers during the
summer....assuming they eventually get round to splashing the Hutton cash on
attacking players...hopefully if McFadden does sign for the Gers, he won't
appear for the press at the bottom the marble staircase at Ibrox and say
"you know, I really wanted to sign for Celtic, but they went for Barry
Robson instead.." |

Its not really unfair either, its about true imho.He hasnt done anything
really at everton (yet has been superb at times for the national team!!!) so
if they went down hes not going to attract any of the upper tier of EPL
teams and the lower ones arent going to shell out the amount Birmingham paid
for his services so he is left at that level or moves up north.I hadnt
actually seen any of the Miller stuff for rangers anywhere apart from a
couple of people mention it on here.Must admit if its true then im shocked
and i think a few rangers fans would be pretty embarrased thats the level of
player they are looking at! I for one was glad to see th back of him
although before i get pulled up i was actually happy when he signed thinking
he might want to prove himself, sadly all he managed to prove was that he
still wasnt that great!

I actually really liked Kenny Miller. I know he never scored much, and he
becomes abit pointless as a striker if he doesn't score. But he tried his
heart out. Also when he eventually got round to scoring he did it in some
big games. The goal against the Italians at Hampden, then the goal against
Rangers at Parkhead....eh, maybe that's it though it terms of Kenny's
goals....well hopefully anyway...
I think Rangers would do well to get him, since they are currently competing
with Seria B teams for players and the signings they are making are of the
standard of Christian Dailly... |

I agree he tried, but when you are on the kind of wages he was on then trying
is not enough. You get paid to provide the goods . I would say any celtic fan
on the NG if they were allowed to play a season for Celtic would try their
hardest but that wouldnt mean they were of the quality required.Yes he did
score some big game goals but so have many celtic players who have come and
gone over the years.

I was also a fan of Millers but more for the enthusiasm he showed and the
running (imo it was only goals he was missing). It is fair to say most
people would try their hardest but i doubt anyone from these NG's could
even do what Miller did (for some Celtic fans that wasn't a lot).
