Are Arsenal hypocrites for talking about how rough play has today
ended Eduardo's career? Wasn't the tackle that Gallas did against Nani
last weekend just as bad a the one that ended Eduardo's career today?

If Taylor is banned from playing football for ending Eduardo's career,
should Gallas be charged with attempting to end Nani's career?

But that's what some people are arguing though. That Wenger is a
hypocrite for not condemning Gallas' tackle on Nani, yet he condemns
the tackle on Eduardo today.

Some people argue that no one has ever landed on the moon...some arguements
are silly.

I've just said in another thread that I've seen worse tackles than the
Taylor/Eduardo one.....but few worse outcomes. I've seen tackles that could
have ended careers, and the player concerned gets up and walks away.

I won't compare the two tackles, but I will say this:
I think there was malicious intent in Gallas' mind when he went for Nani.
Having just watched he tackle on Eduardo, I'm convinced there was no
malicious intention. It was a momentary lapse of reason....a reckless
lunge.....and I'm sure Taylor is distraught with what has transpired.

I just hope Eduardo recovers. That's all I'm bothered about.

You don't have to compare the two tackles to make that point. Wenger should
have condemned Gallas, but alas he never did. In fact, IIRC, he condemned
Nani for entertaining the fans with his sublime skills. And here's me
thinking half their job *is* to entertain the crowd. I don't ever recall an
opposition manager condemning George Best for showing off. Funny that.

This is neither one place or another.

I am surprised you allowed yourself to join in with this horseshit

It was the first thing that came into my mind, that one of the Man Utd
posters had resorted to using a sockpuppet through Google groups. I
always thought that Drivel had a true love of the game though. I am
starting to question his claims that he was a former player and coach.

Nani Tricks Apparently AF told Nani to behave himself.

Bendtner tackle... Bad, bad tackle - don't think it was intentional (the studs up on shin, not the challenge) but I think he was lucky to get away with a yellow for it....

What about Nani's dive? Shameful Just shows the mentality of these players that even when they are leading 3-0 they still can't help themselves to con the ref, fellow professionals and paying fans The FA have to step in soon and sort this disease out. Either that or the EPL will become a

Nani - YouTube A little taster - and keep in mind he is far from the finished product. I have a feeling we'll be seeing a few trademark somersault goal celebrations - he'll certainly light up OT doing that.
