Probably the same as you. Only some people understand what they're seeing.

For instance, some people managed to go through the entire 1980s without
seeing the irreperable damage that evil witch Thatcher did to our country.

Others manage to watch an entire 90mins without noticing the damage Carrick
inflicts on the opposition.

Carrick is a very good player a player I believe you have to see live to
appreciate. We won the league last year with him as a mainstay in the
midfield you cant carry a player in his position over a 38 game season.

Darth Simian's lack of understanding of the game of football struck me
instantly from reading the very few on topic posts that he actually makes.
One of the few reasons that make him a permanent fixture on my killfile,
actually. At first I found it amusing (as I did his take on politics), but
then it got to my wanting to headbut the monitor. So I decided to put my
sanity before my penchant for cheap Usenet based amusement.

His view on Carrick's game is a good example of his lack of understanding
above the basics, such as the ball hitting the back of the net.

No team wins the PL with a bag of shite in midfield for 30+ games...Carrick
is an outstanding player, but nobody expected you to understand that.

Carrick ... ....Always felt he's been much maligned by some United fans. He was our only significant signing last season and we turned from also-rans into Champions. He ran the game against Toon. Sets up attacks, breaks down opposition moves, works tirelessly. I like
