Here's one from 2001 where at least 4 different posters are calling
for Wenger's head:
http://groups.google.com/group/alt.sports.soccer.arsenal/browse_frm/thread/d1dd57159579ab8/ebdeaa5925716c28?hl=en&lnk=gst&q=WENGER+HAS+TO+GO#ebdeaa5925716c28
If you wish to be entertained for 20 mins, this thread delivers.
One of the many highlights of this thread came when Poorspella,
drawing upon all his accounting acumen, came up with this little gem
about George Graham and Spurs:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Failed? They have won more than us in the last three seasons!!
Therefore
that must make AW an even bigger failure then! "

Perhaps not so surprisingly -- I don't think the Google server is able
to process so many lapses in common sense and judgment within such a
short space of time.
Um, try this:

The OCD became too much for him. Imagine checking the spelling of
everyone on the Usenet threads you engaged in.

Best of it was, he frequently made spelling and grammatical mistakes of
his own. Hasn't posted in here for a couple of years now has he? |

My personal favourite was Robert who is confident we'll get a better
manager when Wenger goes.
I knew there was good reason that I discount virtually everything he
says about football. |

Apparently I said we'd never fill a 70,000 stadium against Derby.

Boy, that guy was a real dimwit. He hadn't been to an Arsenal game
since the Don Howe era, yet spoke as if his opinions were gospel.

He made some other incoherent statement in that thread about not
competing with Huddersfield anymore.

Something like that is more difficult to predict. However, you were
definitely the voice of reason in that thread.

Yes, but more often he's the voice of dribbling green-eyed imbecility:
'Ronaldo is a panic buy with no end product who will never improve'.
'Reyes is better than Ronaldo'
'Dein is the person I most admire in sport'.
'Henry never dives'.
And watching his U-turns when he realises he's just contradicted Wenger.
The list is almost endless and very funny.
