If they didn't, they bloody well should have. Quite honestly I thought he
should have been stripped of the captaincy there and then.
That is no way for a captain to behave. How is his team supposed to look up
to him as a leader when he acts like that? theres no excuse.
Poor Gael Clichy. The guys been tremendous for us all season, he makes a
mistake thats all. A terrible mistake that cost us two points (even though
it wasn't a penalty) but Gallas hasn't exactly been brilliant lately by any
stretch of the imagination. How is he supposed to feel when he lines up
alongside Gallas this weekend?
I look forward to Cesc taking over the captaincy in a couple of years
time...
In an ideal world, Gallas should be stripped of the captaincy with Toure
getting the nod. But we're in a title race and more instability is not what
is needed.
But he needs to act like a captain should. You wouldn't see John Terry in
that position, he would have been in the penalty takers face and backing up
his goalkeeper and defenders, keeping spirits high, telling them to put it
right in the next game.
Some captain that was. Nothing is more certain to get the 'gut reaction' group out than any suggestion of criticism about anything 'Arsenal' ( or Man U, Liverpool, Chelsea or Spurs in their groups) but this past week does raise some questions. Weenier is good manager, but not f
taylor for captain? i'd be shocked if he isnt vs bolton. if it's not him, it'll be given. but for me, tayls is the man, he breathes nufc, just like keegan does. and ffs, KK, get his contract sorted ASAP.
Captain Snoop of Engurlandia? Fabio Capello is planning to make Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand his new captain. Hmmm, its from the Daily Star. I will believe it when I see it. I think he is more likely to piss snow than get the armband. But then again... -- Where there is
