It's early to judge Andy Reid, but he came on and made an instant impact
yesterday. If we could only get Richardson and Edwards fit for the remainder
of the season I think the odds will be strongly in our favour to stay up and
by some margin. We are in a reasonably healthy position despite being down
to the bare bones of the squad in midfield, but with Reid, Richardson and
Edwards available we would have one of the better midfields in the bottom
half of the table.

It was good to see Leadbitter back as well, if we can get over our injury
jinx then things will be looking up for our run out.
With yet another player out (O'Donovan) the club has to look at what is
going on regarding fitness/training. We're either spectacularly unlucky or
there's something amiss.

Yakubu out of the squad this weekend Due to his late return from the African Nations Cup. There's even a possibility he won't be included in the UEFA Cup game against Brann in midweek. The Yak will need to prove himself to the club all of over again. According to the official site: << Yakub
