There are still some serious questions hanging over this transfer.
Specifically, how the hell do you pronounce 'Mwaruwari' ?!

This is especially satisfying after reading about wide boy 'arry mouthing
off about what great business he'd done, replacing a 29 year old with a 25
year old.

This is interesting. This is what the Portsmouth web site says:

"The protracted transfer has been completed with Pompey receiving the full
fee originally agreed between the two clubs on transfer deadline day.
Manchester City had expressed concerns over a past knee injury and as a
result, part of the fee will be paid in stages."

So, I assume if he makes 75 starts, the price doubles to what was originally
agreed. Still a good deal, but hardly the "remarkable bargain" claimed in
MEN.

Seventy-five starts will take him into the season after next, i don't
expect him to be around beyond the end of next season.
Mpenza and Vassell will go this summer along with the loaned out failures.
We'll start next season with Benji, Boj Caicedo, and Sturridge at least,
because i'm sure that Sven was told "come back next summer" regarding
his recent targets and he'll be lining up his replacement now.
Benji's a signing for the rest of this season and as a squad player next
season.

pronunciation = Muhwarruwarri.

It still irks me that former Coventry player Peter Ndlovu's(Nshlovoo)
was pronounced "Undlove"

My current pet pronunciation peeve is that in Bulgarian there is stress
on the second syllable, so it's "MarTIN PeTROV and VaLERi BoJINov.

I heard Radio Manc commentary on Wigan V Everton recently, *Anton*
Sibierski & *Julian* Lescott.
It really bugged me.

No, i really do get annoyed at mispronunciations.
I can forgive ones like Ndlovu where the local pronunciation doesn't
reflect the sound of the letters in English, but the Anton (Antoine) one
where the commentator disregards some letters in the word REALLY BUGS ME.
